For several years the corporate forum of the Ural-Press Group of Companies has been demonstrating the virtual honor board to announce regularly professional achievements of our employees.
In the meantime, the people working for Ural-Press are notable not only for their working achievements. A representative example is our legendary foot-borne courier from the Khabarovsk-based branch of Ural-Press – Vladimir Plaksy – who became a hero of the documentary book “In one team. Khabarovsk land of sports. Victorious heights”.
The book was published in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Khabarovsk Region. It is a compilation of documentary materials and photographs illustrating the history of sports in the Khabarovsk Region. One of the stories under the title “Running to Khasan” tells about the Bodrost Club for enthusiasts of running and about its director Vladimir Plaksy.
It should be noted that Vladimir Plaksy came to works as foot courier at the Ural-Press agency on November 1, the day of his 73rd birthday. Though he has not been long with the company, we are proud to have such people among our employees: Not many people can cover 850 km running in 18 days! Vladimir Plaksy says about his new job: “At last I have found the job I always dreamed of!”
